Midagon implements a group organisation to support local business in Finland and Sweden

After Midagon and Kontract joined forces, the businesses have been integrated on many levels. Kontract is now Midagon Sweden, and a new group organisation supports local businesses with shared capabilities and services.

Integrating operative business, company culture and support services

The group will provide a mutual frame for strategy and business model, and support countries with shared services.

Operative business, including project delivery, recruitment and sales, will continue to have a strong local focus. Being close to the clients and knowing their business and regional markets is one of Midagon’s key strengths, which is also ensured in the future. Collaboration is practised, and knowledge and people are shared where beneficial to support clients even better.

The newly formed Group Leadership Team will steer the strategy and further integration work together with local management and other key teams. The Group Leadership Team has four members:

Ilkka is responsible for developing Midagon's Group-level strategy and growth opportunities in the Nordics and beyond. In addition, Ilkka is responsible for managing and developing the business in Finland.

Kristian is responsible for managing and developing the business in Sweden together with the local management team.

Minna is responsible for Group-level financial reporting and development.

Vesa is responsible for developing operations, governance and ESG across the Group.

Among other things, the group is responsible for group-level financial and ESG reporting, IT, and the implementation of group-wide information security standards.

Midagon stands out and aims to shape the consulting industry with a strong, value-based company culture. The group will also steer the continuous work for developing and strengthening it across countries.

A new group level strategy to set direction for business development and growth

Coming phases of the integration will focus on further increasing collaboration between the local organisations, sharing best practices and delivering consistent value to our clients across the Nordics.

A new group-level strategy towards further growth in the Nordics and beyond will be developed during the second half of 2023.
